Designer, Developer, Rider and Chief Executive Officer, grew up just outside of Phoenix, Arizona where the majority of his time was spent outdoors. He started riding dirt bikes at the age of seven. As soon as he turned 16, he got his motorcycle license.
While he worked most of his life in the mining industry, he always maintained his love of riding. Whether riding with friends or in large organized groups, he prefers to ride in the back position. This was how his idea to be able to communicate with the front position came to life.
He knew there was not a need to actually speak with the front rider; just the need to communicate to slow the pack down – or have the whole pack pull over when safe. In turn, the front position can communicate with the back position asking for the all clear signal to resume the ride.
With all of David’s years of riding in a pack environment he experienced many instances where a need to slow or stop the group had come up and knew there was a safety need not only for the motorcycle community but other outdoor enthusiasts as well.
